We talked about an upcoming event, The Future under Our Skin, and how our skin, together with advanced technologies, could one day give us more information or functionality. The interview can be read here.   

Our work on Gas bubble evolution on microstructured silicon substrates, is now published in Energy and Environmental Science. The result of a fruitful collaboration with colleagues from UC3M and Physics of Fluids group, has detailed the formation, growth and detachment of gas bubbles on electrodes of relevance to many gas-producing processes in industry.

A collaboration with colleagues from the Universidad de Sevilla gives monodisperse bubbles with a twist. Novel swirl flow‑focusing microfluidic device for the production of monodisperse microbubbles. A link to the publication can be found here.

After organizing an event in 2014, Pathways to Solar Hydrogen Technologies, at the prestigious Lorentz Centre, we managed to coordinate the input of 45+ co-authors and produced a paper recently accepted in Energy and Environmental Science.  The link to the paper can be found here.

The Dutch magazine KIJK, has nominated my needle-free idea InkBeams, and the popular vote has positioned it at the top of all the selected ideas. Now a group of experts will decide what will happen … Looking forward to it!
