I am very proud to see the last paper from my first PhD student being published in such a relevant journal.
Influence of Bubbles on the Energy Conversion Efficiency of Electrochemical Reactors
Electrochemical reactions often produce gas form bubbles at the reaction site. We are studying the influences on energy and mass transfer by gas bubbles evolving in electrodes, because bubbles can reduce the reaction efficiency. Together with collaborators from New York University, we describe different strategies to mitigate losses and exploit bubbles.
