Generous donation to my research activities
The University Foundation arranged a fundraising action as part of its annual campaign to support improvements of the Quality of life for Diabetics. Last October 4th I received the check, and had the opportunity to answer questions from many of the generous donors! Looking forward to using this contribution in the best possible way.

Yesterday we started a week at the Lorentz Center where experts from education, chemical engineering, and industry will be discussing the challenges and opportunities to ensure the life-long education of engineers and scientists: Educating on Process Intensification.

Bubbles “dancing” in tune
A new publication that results from a collaboration with colleagues in Singapore and Germany is out: In-phase synchronization between two auto-oscillating bubbles. Published in Physical Review Fluids, we demonstrate that bubbles driven with a constant heat source can couple with each other and yield in-phase synchronization, even in the absence of an external sound field.
